I was at Madison when Velma and Darwin were. We lived side by side in a little duplex house in their graduate year. They were such a sweet couple. I know that the world was better because they were in it. I am so sorry to hear of their deaths. My heart goes out to the family. My prayers are with you. May God keep you in His care.

Darwin and Velma were very good friends of mine at Madison College in the years 1959 & 60. They were married at the time and I was single. That didn't matter, they befriended me anyway. We remained friends till now. I missed seeing them; but was never able to make it to Pee Wee.
I am so sorry about this news. She and I talked on the phone several times and to Darwin before he passed. She and I exchanged frequent e-mail.
I will keep your family in my prayers. She was a precious sister to me.
May the God of Love reach down and hold each of you and keep you until that long looked for resurrection. Even so come Lord Jesus.
