I was so sorry to learn about George's passing. As president of Leadership Louisville, I was fortunate to meet George as a participant in our class of community leaders. Ford hadn't been active in the business community when George came to KTP. But he changed all that by opening the plant to our tours and involving his leadership team in our programs. George saw the big picture of Ford's long history in Louisville and devoted the energy to reconnect with the community. Not all plant managers shared that vision. His legacy is alive in the thousands of jobs at KTP today. George made a difference. On top of that, he was just a great guy! My condolences to all of his family members.

I wish the Kormanis family peace and love during this time. I worked for George at Ford from when he first came to KTP until my retirement. He was one of the best leader's that I reported to. He is missed by all.

Our sincere condolences go to Joyce and all of the Kormanis family for the loss of our good friend. Our days together at KTP were memorable and exciting.due significantly to the energy and skill George brought to work.We also remember fondly Zoofari and the fun we enjoyed there with George and Joyce and others on the Ford KTP team. Although we had not seen him for some time and were unaware of his health issues, we will miss him, We wish the family our very best in this sorrowful time.

I had known Mr. Kormanis through my brother in law Todd for the last 5 years and that time was too short , I enjoyed his company, our conversations and stories whenever we shared family time together. I will always remember him as clever, funny and a stand up good guy.
He will surely be missed

I am sorry to learn of the passing of George. I always felt that he was a good and honorable man. He was a very good Plant Manager and as I understand it, a pretty good fisherman. We will miss him and we will pray that God comforts his family

George was my first boss at Ford in 1972. Had more fun an got more accomplished with him than any other. Learned Liars Poker in the process. Maybe should say, spent some money to learn. Kept in touch over the years. Spoke by phone with him about 6 weeks ago, but did not realize how severe the problem.
My condolences to the family.

I will always remember George from our time at KTP, and the little time we spent in Mexico launching the Med. "F" Series Truck. George was a big man with an even bigger heart. My thoughts and prayers are with his family. Rest in peace George.

I'm very sorry to hear about George's passing. I knew him very well from his days at KTP, and then at MTP beginning in the fall of 1997. George had a unique blend of intellect and courage that would have carried him even further in today's Ford. We enjoyed many great conversations over the years. I was actually looking forward to reconnecting with George when I retired in Louisville. Now it's not to be....
