Dave has been my dentist for thirty years. He always had a smile for everyone. I rode bikes with Dave and played golf with him. He was a great guy and just as great a dentist. He will be missed. "Speed of light Dave"

We moved here 18 years ago, he was such a great Dentist, friendly, compassionate, good at his job never failed to see you if you had any dental problems right away. You could not ask for a better person. We will miss him dearly. We send our prayers and condolences to the family. RIP Doc Besser

David was so nice to come to the hospital when my husband was in intensive care to help with a tooth problem he was having, He was so great so kind and a dear friend I will miss him. I'll bet Bob and David are together talking over good times :) RIP

I will always remember David as a fun loving down to earth guy. I enjoyed playing golf with David and his dad on the OCCC men's league. David was a great dentist, so down to earth and made you feel like he was so happy to see you. David loved talking about the lake and house boating. David... you will be missed!

Memories of childhood moments on Regina Lane with David have stayed with me for more than fifty years. As little children we waited for Santa Claus together every year. On our way to the bowling alley (where we were not supposed to go) we would hide by
the dump hoping to see a hobo jump off the train. I'll never forget seeing him fall out of the tree headfirst into the fence post. I thought we lost him then. Not David - he was resilient. He was my hero. He could do anything. As grade schoolers, David was the first entrepreneur I knew. He sold soft drinks at a nearby construction site and made what I thought was a small fortune. Hours at the lake as teenagers driving the boats at full throttle was simply a symbol of how he lived life - to it's fullest at all times. When his family left Regina Lane for Oldham County I thought a piece of my soul had been taken from me. Graduating from different high schools, we came back together to celebrate that milestone before heading off on life's next journey. And what a journey it has been. David, you made our lives better because you lived. You inspired us.

Our entire family has been patients of Dr. Besser since we moved to Kentucky many years ago. He has always greeted us with a smile, a warm welcome and an upbeat attitude no matter what kind of day he was having. He took pride in operating his practice with professionalism and integrity and he was known for retaining a loyal and dedicated staff of the highest caliber. He has watched our boys grow up into young men and laughed with us through all the parenting issues. It is rare to see a man who has such a zest for living and who is so genuine! We feel honored to have known him and will miss him greatly - both personally and professionally.

When I moved to Oldham Co. my daughter had a baby tooth that was barely hanging on and she was throwing a fit - I thought something terrible must be wrong - I called Dr. Besser and he came in on a Saturday and was as gracious and sweet as can be. He eased my "fears" as a mom and even gave a little numbing medicicne and pulled that tooth! No Charge! What a great human being! He will be missed!
