Rick was a great friend of mine for more than 30 years. For those of us who knew Rick will certainly miss his dry wit and sense of humor. I will never forget playing golf with him.......fun and quite unforgettable⛳⛳.

Tammy, Anita and I always think of you and Rick when we hear the song "BROWN EYED GIRL"!! 🎤🎵🎼

Rest in peace dear friend 🇱🇷

Our sincerest condolences to you and your family. We wanted to share a scripture that bought us comfort when we our brother and father both died. It's found at Revelation chapter 21: 3,4 it reads,"With that I heard a loud voice from the throne say: “Look! The tent of God is with mankind, and he will reside with them, and they will be his people. And God himself will be with them. And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.” Please know that others care and we pray that God may grant you strength in the days ahead.

I have known Rick since grade school, Holy Cross. Rick and I would trade records of recording stars of the time. Rick Nelson, "The one eyed purple people eater", Poke dot bikini, Beach Boys, Jan & Dean. We graduated from Flaget in 1964. I never saw Rick without a smile. In high school, the brothers would call us by our last name. I did not know that Rick's first name was Curtis until now. He will be missed. Another Flaget Brave goes to the great heavens above. I genuinely regret your loss. I am convinced that no one better than God, understands the depth of your pain and can help you cope with your disquieting thoughts. Please believe the words of Psalm 34:18 “Jehovah is near to those that are broken at heart, and those who are crushed in spirit he saves.” Until the blissful day of resurrection comes, may you receive God’s peace that excels all thought, so that it will guard your hearts and your mental powers by means of Christ Jesus.
