William "Billy" Simmons

William “Billy” Simmons of Pewee Valley, passed peacefully at home on Sunday December 26, 2021.
He is proceeded in death by his mother, Betty Geraldine Simmons and his father in-law, George K. Duncan.
Survivors include his loving wife Lori, beloved mother in-law Leona Sharp, daughter Nikki Palmer, son in-law James Palmer, granddaughter Meytal, grandson Kierdan, sister Cindy Miller “Jimmy”, brothers Ricky Simmons”Jodie”, Danny Simmons”Tracy”, Jimbo Simmons, father Joe Simmons, and several nieces and nephews.
Billy was an avid golf player and life long member in of Oldham County Country Club.
He loved tinkering on his mini pull trucks and was a member of the National Mini Truck Pulling Association.
Billy’s most enjoyment came from those whom called him PopPop. He always said those grand babies were the light in his world.
