William Noel Davis

William Noel Davis, 67, of Centerfield KY was called home to be with Jesus on Sunday, July 9, 2023, after a short battle with cancer. William, or as many know him, Stick/Billy/Bill, was born on December 25, 1955 at Mallory Taylor Memorial hospital in La Grange KY.
Billy graduated from Oldham County High School. After graduating high school, Billy worked at Dad’s Imports, Kmart, and most recently, at Walmart in Crestwood, where he enjoyed being a Maintenance Worker.
Proverbs 17:27-28 states, “The one who has knowledge uses words with restraint, and whoever has understanding is even tempered.” Many who knew Billy, would remember him as a quiet man who enjoyed spending time on his boat at Kentucky Lake.
A gathering of family and friends will be on Thursday, July 13, from 4:00-8:00 pm, at Stoess Funeral Home, 6534 W. State Hwy 22, Crestwood where we will rejoice and share stories of Billy’s life. A Celebration Service will be on Friday, July 14 at 2:00 pm at Stoess Funeral Home. An additional gathering will be held prior to the Service from 12:00 – 2:00 pm. Burial will follow the Celebration Service at Floydsburg Cemetery. The family looks forward to gathering with you.
Billy was preceded in death by his Mother, Margaret Doty Davis. Billy leaves behind his father, William (Anna) Davis. Siblings, Wayne (Joanie) Davis, Anita Hodges, Melissa (Jim) Cushing, and Jeff (Kathy) Davis, along with a plethora of extended family who loved Billy.
