William Richard Blankenship

William “Bill” Richard Blankenship, 79, passed away peacefully on January 10, 2023, at his residence in Crestwood, Kentucky.  Bill was a United States Navy Veteran and after his service, retired after 40 years of service from Ford Motor Company.  He was a car enthusiast, especially Ford, enjoyed working in his vegetable garden and spending time with his family. He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Joan, son, Lee Blankenship and his wife, Tina, grandson, Wesley Preston and granddaughter, Brenna Blankenship.  A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, January 14, 2023, from 11:00-3:00 at Stoess Funeral Home, Crestwood.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made in Bill’s honor to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
