Obituary

 

Wally Orbison passed away Sunday, May 30th, after a tragic fall at his home. He had been a cancer survivor five times. He is survived by his wife Libby (Elizabeth Reed Orbison) of 17 year, two stepchildren; Amy H. Smith of LaGrange, Ky, and Joseph C. Hager (Jennifer), of Crown Point In. His step grandchildren; Jessica Davis (Alex), Dylan Smith, Sam and Joseph Hager, Crown Point In. He had two great grandchildren Knox and Dax Davis, as well as a niece Rev. Jay Ellen Lundin (Erick) of Crownsville, Maryland and nephews Robert Bailey of Coronado, Ca and Jim Lundin (Tiffany) of Denver, Co.

Wally was born in Memphis, Tn and is preceded in death by his parents Wallace Blair Orbison and Lettie Fay Ellen (Ellis) Orbison and sister Betty Bailey of Crownsville, Maryland.

Wally retired from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and enjoyed his retirement for 20 years. Wally was an avid golfer. To honor this, his remains will be placed in a giant golf ball. No public services will be held, as per his wishes.
