Virginia Lee (Prater) Kaufman

Virginia Lee Kaufman, 61, of Middletown, passed away Saturday, March 23, 2024, leaving behind a host of family and friends that loved her so much. She will be dearly missed. 

Survivors: 2 brothers, Ron Prater (Marcella), and Kenneth Wayne Prater; 4 sisters, Catherine Slusher (George), Rosetta Lemons, Joyce Armstrong, and Delores Clerico (Paul); along with a host of Nieces and Nephews that loved her so much.

Proceeded: by her husband Robert Lee Kaufman; and parents, Harold, and Marie Prater

Virginia was full of life and determination. She was loved by so many and touched many hearts. 

Her favorite place to be was on the beach with her feet in the water. She had accomplished getting her Bachelor and Masters Degree in Social Work. She never let her disability get in the way of doing things in life that she loved to do. She was spunky and feisty. And was called Mamaw Jenny.  

Virginia's visitation will be held at Stoess Funeral Home, 6534 W Hwy 22, Crestwood, KY 40014, on Friday, March 29th, 2024 from 2 PM until 6 PM. Virginia's funeral service will be held at Stoess the next morning, Saturday, March 30th, 2024 at 10 AM with one hour of visitation before the service from 9 AM to 10 AM. Virginia will be buried at Highland Memory Garden 279 Landis Lane, Mt Washington, KY 40047 on Monday, April 1st, 2024 at 1 PM.
