Vicky Sue (Noel) Brightwell

Vicky Sue Noel, aged 73, of Smithfield, Kentucky, passed away on Friday, August 16th, 2024.  She was born February 19th, 1951 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Robert H. Noel and Lucille Graham Noel.  After graduating Ahrens Trade School in Louisville in 1969, she went on to work in the service industry for several years.  She then met the love of her life, Gary Wayne Brightwell and they were married in on December 28th, 1973.  Vicky devoted the rest of her life to being a wonderful homemaker and caretaker of her family.  She was a fabulous cook and loved to host gatherings for the family for many years.  She was a true lover of people, and was a caring and devoted wife, mother, mamaw, sister, aunt, daughter-in-law and friend.  

She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Robert Darryl Noel; and her beloved husband, Gary.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her beloved daughters, Tammy Brightwell Morrison (Anthony) and Tiffany Lynn Brightwell; her granddaughter, whom she adored, Autumn Rayne Wilson.

Funeral service will be 2pm, Thursday, August 22, 2024, Stoess Funeral Home, Crestwood with burial to follow in Floydsburg Cemetery.  Visitation will be Thursday, 10 am until 2 pm.
