Thomas Barron Prisock, 55, passed away on Wednesday, April 29, 2026, at his home in Crestwood, Kentucky.
Thomas was born on August 18, 1970, in Key West, Florida, to Rita Carolyn Davis Prisock and Dwight Ray Prisock. He was raised in Houston, Texas, and Marietta, Georgia, where he formed lifelong friendships and developed a strong sense of community. He was an experienced construction project manager, dedicating more than two decades to the construction industry.
Thomas was a devoted family man, a loyal friend, and a respected member of his community. Known for his steady presence, kind heart, and outgoing personality, he touched the lives of many through his generosity and willingness to help others without hesitation.
With a deep appreciation for life’s simple moments, Thomas found joy in spending time with his family, working with his hands, and enjoying the outdoors. Whether sharing stories, offering guidance, or simply being present, he made those around him feel valued and supported.
He will be remembered for his integrity, his sense of humor, and the love he gave so freely to those closest to him. His legacy lives on in the memories he created and the lives he influenced.
Thomas is survived by his loving wife, Wendy Prisock; his three children, Jackson Davis Prisock, Olen Tanner Prisock, and McKenzie Rose Prisock; his father, Dwight Ray Prisock; his brother, Stephen Ray Prisock (Dusti Prisock); and his sister, Jennifer Prisock Towery (Justin Towery). They will continue to honor his life and cherish the time they shared with him.
He was preceded in death by his mother Rita Carolyn Davis Prisock, grandparents Roberta Fay Prisock and Olen Thomas Prisock, Nettie Pearl Davis and Roy Barron Davis; and mother in law LeEllen Frazier.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 3, 2026, from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Stoess Funeral Home (6534 KY-22, Crestwood, Kentucky). Funeral services will be held on Monday, May 4, 2026, at Stoess Funeral Home, with visitation from noon until services at 2:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Floydsburg Cemetery (5600 Old Floydsburg Road, Crestwood, Kentucky).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the American Heart Association, or that acts of kindness be performed in his memory, reflecting the compassion and generosity he showed throughout his life.
He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
