Thomas Oxender Obituary

Thomas Oxender, born on July 13th, 1969, in Mansfield, Ohio, passed away in November 1,2025 in Louisville, Kentucky. He was 56 years old.

Tom’s life was marked by devotion, to his family, enduring friendships, and a vibrant sense of humor that brought joy to those around him. He is survived by his beloved wife Terri; their two sons; Nathan and Jonathan; his brother Tim and his sister-in-law Maria; his sister Cindy; and their children Sam, Quinn and Cecelia. He is proceeded in death by his parents, Gene and Marita Oxender

A proud Ohioan by birth and Buckeye at heart, tom carried his love for Ohio State Football throughout his life. He formed lifelong friendships during his college years as a member of Sigma Chi at the University of Cincinnati. He earned a business degree from Xavier University- an achievement that reflected both his dedication to learning and his commitment to personal growth.

Tom had a passion for golf that extended beyond the fairways. Whether playing a round with friends or exploring new courses during family vacations He found joy in the game and camaraderie it fostered. His enthusiasm for travel was matched only by the happiness he found in spending time with loved ones.

He was a constant presence at his son’s sporting events-cheering from the sidelines with pride and unwavering support. His commitment to family was evident in every aspect of his life, from everyday moments to shared adventures.

Those who knew Tom will remember him for his quick wit, generous spirit, and ability to make others feel welcome and valued. His laughter echoed through gatherings of friends and family alike-a sound that will be deeply missed but fondly remembered.

May Thomas Oxender’s memory bring comfort to all who knew him and continue to inspire love, laughter, and loyalty in the lives he touched.

There will be a Sigma Chi White Rose at the graveside at Floydsburg Cemetery following the funeral.

The family asks that any expressions of sympathy in honor of Tom to be made to Hosparus of Louisville or
