Steven Prince

On September 6, 2021, Steven Zane Prince of Crestwood, Kentucky passed away at the age of 72.

He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Becky; his children, Justin (Sarah Thiel) Prince and Ben Prince; his grandchildren, Lauren, Katelyn, Taylor, Benjamin (and their mother, Statia Prince), Jules, and Mabel; his father, Willard Prince; his brother, Ed (Marion) Prince; his sister, Debby Prince; his sisters-in-law, Barb Prince and Debby Sodomick; his niece, Natalia Sandlin; and many nieces and nephews.

Steve is preceded in death by his mother, June; his granddaughter, Quinn Prince; his brother, Don Prince; his mother-in-law, Betty Sodomick; his father-in-law, Walter Sodomick; two of his brothers-in-law.

Steve was born and spent his childhood in Jane Lew, West Virginia, disassembling and rebuilding radios and anything else he could get his hands on. He was driven by a strong sense of curiosity which eventually led him to join the U.S. Navy and travel the world aboard the USS Intrepid aircraft carrier. Upon his return to the states, Steve started his long career as an electrical technician for several network affiliated television stations. His love of tinkering with machines and electronics remained until the end.

A visitation will be held at 3 o’clock, on Friday, September 10 at Stoess Funeral Home, 6534 W State Hwy 22, Crestwood, KY 40014.
