Shirley Faye (Armstrong) Floyd

Shirley Floyd, 70, of Bedford, Kentucky, passed away unexpectedly at home on Saturday, May 18, 2024. She had been battling multiple myeloma for some time. She was born on October 1, 1953, in Bardstown, Kentucky to the late J. W.  Armstrong and Mary Catherine Armstrong.

She is survived by her children, JoAnn Floyd, and Russell Floyd, Jr.; and by siblings, Ronnie Armstrong; Mary Armstrong Downey; George Armstrong (Pearline); Kathy Armstrong Smith; Robert Armstrong; Doug Armstrong; and Phillip Armstrong.   She was also blessed with many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Russell Floyd and by her brothers, Billy Armstrong and Charlie Armstrong.

Visitation will be from 12:00 -1:00 PM on Saturday, June 15, 2024 at Crossroads Church, 4835 Hwy 421, Bedford, Ky. A memorial service will immediately follow at 1:00 PM.
