Shiloh Skarski Obituary

Shiloh Rain Skarski, cherished daughter of CPT Addison and Kelly Skarski, entered the presence of her Lord and Savior on May 31, 2026, at the age of three months.

Born on March 1, 2026, in South Korea, Shiloh's life was a testimony of faith, love, and God's sustaining grace. Though her time on earth was brief, her life touched countless hearts and drew many closer to the Lord through her courageous journey.

From her very first days, Shiloh faced extraordinary medical challenges but consistently stayed a content and happy baby. She spent much of her life in intensive care units throughout South Korea, surrounded by the unwavering love of her parents and the faithful prayers of family, friends, and churches around the world. Addison and Kelly entrusted their daughter each day to the hands of God.

Seeking every opportunity for healing, Shiloh was transferred to Walter Reed National Military Medical Center before arriving in Louisville, Kentucky. Through every hospital room, every procedure, every difficult conversation, and every uncertain day, her family found strength in their faith and comfort in the promises of Christ.

While we grieve the loss of our precious daughter, we do not grieve without hope. We take comfort in knowing that Shiloh is no longer suffering and is now held perfectly in the loving arms of Jesus. The God who lovingly formed her, knew her, and sustained her throughout her life has welcomed her into His eternal presence.

Shiloh is survived by her loving parents, Addison and Kelly Skarski; devoted grandparents, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family members. She is preceded in death by her grandfather John Greenwell (Pop Pop).

Though we only held Shiloh for a little while, we will carry her in our hearts forever. Her life reminded us that every day is a gift from God, that His faithfulness endures through every trial, and that His promises remain true even in our deepest sorrow.

As a family, we rest in the assurance that because of Jesus Christ, death is not the end. We look forward to the day when every tear will be wiped away, every sorrow will cease, and we will be reunited with our precious Shiloh in the presence of our Lord.

"For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made." — Matthew 19:14

The visitation will be Thursday, June 4th, from 10am-12noon at Stoess funeral home in Crestwood KY with a service to follow at 12pm.
