Shelia (Calaway) Halsey

Shelia (Calaway) Halsey, 82, of New Richmond, Ohio went home to her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on April 1st, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. She is survived by her children Tamarah Jo Stagg (Jon), Todd Halsey (Monica), and Joe Halsey (Kristi). She was blessed to have 14 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

Shelia’s life was inspired by the Gospel and she consistently exemplified love, service and grace to her husband of nearly 57 years, Dr Joseph G Halsey, her children, her church and all of those around her. In life, Shelia was a passionate advocate for the unborn, demonstrated by her countless hours of prayer and tireless work at local pregnancy centers. Her passion for the Lord and the Word of God were constant influences on her life and she consistently modeled faith, love and prayer. Mom was a faithful wife, mother and friend and her legacy will forever impact those that she blessed.

Services will take place at the Reformed Baptist Church of Louisville, 3400 Wilderness Trail, Louisville, Kentucky 40299 on Thursday April 10th with a viewing at 10 am followed by the funeral at 11 am. Interment will take place on Friday April 11th at noon at the Cedarville North Cemetery, 501 N Main Street, Cedarville, Ohio 45314.
