Sally Simonton Knight, 87 of Louisville, Formally of Frankfort, died peacefully on February 1st surrounded by her family. Sally grew up in Erlanger Ky and graduated from Erlanger Lloyd High School. She then attended Eastern Ky University where she was as fate had it she met the love of her life Thomas, and the rest is history. Tom and Sally were married for 66 years. She was a longtime member of Frankfort First Methodist Church. Sally was a successful real estate agent in Louisville for 20 years. She helped many people find their dream homes. Sally enjoyed traveling the country with tom, she loved all of her dogs through the years and love UK basketball. She was the best mom two guys could ask for. Sally is survived by her two sons Greg and David and a very close friend/caregiver to Diana Seaman. She is preceded in death by her parents Harold and Gertrude Simonton; and her brother David Simonton. The family would like to thank the staff at the Forest Springs Health Campus as well as the staff at Baptist East Hospital. The Care you both gave us was amazing. We will be celebrating Sally’s life on Saturday, March 7th with a quick visitation from 10:45 -11:30 with a short service at 11:30 at the Forest Springs Health Campus 4120 wooded acre ln, Louisville. Look for blue and white balloons. Flowers can be sent to Stoess Funeral Home in Creswood.
