Ruth Ann (Bellis) DePrie

Ruth Ann Bellis DePrie, 84, died December 5th, 2021.  Born in Louisville, she was a graduate of U of L.  She was an elementary school teacher for 20 years as she and her husband traveled the world with the US Army.  She loved spending time with her family and friends in her garden.
Ruth was preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Edna (Bishop) Bellis and her husband of 57 years, Michael C. DePrie.  She is survived by her children, Elizabeth (Brian) Glenn and Michael DePrie; granddaughter, Rachel (Casey) Dillard, grandson, David Glenn, great grandchildren, Willow and Lincoln Dillard; brother, Bill (Andrea) Bellis Sr. and a large loving extended family.
Burial was at Floydsburg Cemetery on December 8.  A celebration of life will be held December 16th, 4-8 pm at 314 Exchange, 314 Mt. Mercy Drive, Pewee Valley.
