Russell Floyd

Russell Floyd, 82, passed away on Thursday, October 19, 2023 at Norton Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky, surrounded by his loving family.  He was born on June 7,1941, in Gratz, Kentucky to the late Silas Floyd and Myrtle Smith Floyd.  

Russell is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Shirley Armstrong Floyd;  daughter, Joann Floyd;  son Russell Floyd, Jr.;  and by siblings, Earl Floyd and Jeanette Floyd Durden. He was also blessed with many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Susie Ethington; and by his brothers, Charlie Floyd and Manual Floyd. 

Visitation will be from 12:00-1:00 PM on Saturday, October 28, 2023 at Crossroads Church, 4835 Hwy 421, Milton, Ky.  A memorial service will immediately follow at 1:00 PM.
