Ronald “Ron” Lynn Justice passed away Friday, February 5, 2021 after a long illness.
Ron was born in Pike County, KY on February 17th, 1943. He was a graduate of Feds Creek High School. He later joined the Army and served as a Medical Assistant for five years, three of which were in Germany.
Following his military service, he was employed by Ford Motor Company as a Material
Supply Manager before retiring after 29 years. In his retirement, he remained active
as a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church.
Ron married his high school sweetheart, Sally Booker, and was happily married for 59 years.
Ron loved and was loved by so many people, and his quiet strength, even through years of
adversity with his health, inspired everyone around him. He showed his strength through his kindness
and valued God and his family over all things, even Kentucky basketball. He enjoyed boating and scuba diving, and his family will always share fond memories of their time with him on Green River and at the lake. He
proved that when people love you enough, you can share the same story hundreds of times and everyone
will happily listen. It is often said that he never met a stranger, could and would talk with anyone
at any time, and always had a smile on his face.
Ron is preceded in death by his parents Freeman and Lillie McKenzie Justice, brother Jerry Wayne, and brother Freeman Justice, Jr. He is survived by his wife, Sally Booker Justice; sister Donna Rose Robinson (Denver); sons Tim (Gaylene), Tod (Theresa) and Kyle (Diane) Justice; grandchildren Aaron, (Lindsey), Lyndsey, Olivia, Macy, Taylor, Clare & Natalie; great-grandson Indie; nieces Cheri and Denika; and his best buddy: his Shih-Tzu named Monty.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
