Ronald Anthony Gagliardi

Ronald Anthony Gagliardi 72 of Pewee Valley, Ky passed away peacefully at his home on Wednesday, October21, 2020. He was surrounded by his closest family. 

Ron was an avid Outdoorsman and loved all things that supported his passion for nature. Whether it was hunting, hiking, camping or teaching others his love of conservation. His enjoyment came from all the adventures that were created by those closest to him. Ron was an active member of several clubs including Long Run Sportsman Club and Quail Forever.

Ron also loved boating with his family and friends. As Ron put it, nothing brought more pleasure than just " messing about in boats". Rafting up with good friends and having great conversation was nothing less than a perfect day. He was a planner and wanted people to make memories together, especially vacations (or as Ron would put it, his adventures)! He was a pay-it-forward kind of guy and was the first at offering a hand to the people that needed it the most.

He had a wealth of information. Many times you would wonder, "how and why do you know this?" When Ron would speak you would simply listen. He  had the ability to capture your attention, even if he was pulling one over on you. He was a great friend, who cherished all of his relationships in their own special way. Ron's greatest love, though was his family.

Ron was preceded in death by his parents Joseph and Victoria Gagliardi and a niece AnnaMarie Bond. He is survived by his wife of 40 years Cindy Gagliardi; daughter Nicole Mulberry(Dustin); and two grandaughters Angelina and Taylor Thompson. They brought so much joy and laughter to Ron. They were his reason for everything. He wanted to fight just to have a little more time with the people he loved most. He was truly an example of what a family man should be, so full of strength and love. We love and will forever miss you, Bapa! He is also survived by a brother Joseph Gagliardi Jr.(Susan) plus In-Laws, Cousins, Nieces and Nephews. In Lieu of flowers donations to Hosparus of Louisville or your favorite charity.
