Robert “Keith” Hodges, resident of Oldham County, passed away on Tuesday, September 28, 2021. Keith was born and raised in Louisville, Ky. Upon graduating from DuPont Manual High School, Keith moved to California where he played in a band called “Stargazer". He opened an x-ray business in conjunction with his brother. He also started a family, becoming a father of three children. Soon after the new millennium, Keith returned to Kentucky, making Oldham County his new home.
Keith was a man with many interests. He enjoyed camping with his wife, Anita, being a grandfather to his grandson, Camden, restoring antique engines, going on cruises, vacationing with his family, and living life to the fullest. With Keith there was never a dull moment, even with the smallest of things. He was always looking for the next adventure. His favorite hobby was collecting model trains, and eventually turned his passion into a business, starting his own model train and parts company that will now be carried on by his wife.
Keith was preceded in death by his father, James “Jim” Hodges. Keith is survived by his loving wife, Anita; sons, Alex (Cindy), and Adam; stepson, Justin (Amy); grandchild, Camden; and his siblings; Stephen (Debbie), Greg (Denise), Debbie (Kerry), Leisha (Michael), and Holly (Matt).
