Robert Wayne Adcock

Robert Wayne Adcock of Crestwood KY, born October 15, 1956 went to be with the lord on Friday, December 13, 2024.

He was born and raised in Louisville KY to Robert “Buck” Adcock and Brenda Adcock.

Robert was an Army veteran, 101st Airborne, Ft. Campbell. He retired in 2016 from Naval Ordinance/BAE Systems after 39 years of service.

Robert is preceded in death by his parents, Robert “Buck” Adcock, and Brenda Adcock; and sister, Linda Jo Shannon.

He was a loving and devoted husband, father, and grandfather. A loyal friend to all who knew him. To know him was to love him.

Robert was married 47 years to the love of his life, Debbie Adcock. He is also survived by his two children; Beth McMichael (Jason), and Robby Adcock; one grandchild who was his pride and joy; Makayla McMichael; four siblings; Debbie Trepanier, Mark Adcock, Rhonda Roberts, and Leonard Adcock; And his best dog friend Zeus, who always was by his side; along with a loving host of family and friends.

In his spare time, he loved to spend his days hunting and fishing with his son and his best friends, Robby, Mike Newport, and Lee Adcock. He was an avid Kentucky basketball fan, if a game was on you could find him coaching from the couch. Robert will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
