Rick Davis

Rick Davis, 70, of Crestwood, entered Eternal Peace on February 29, 2024 surrounded by his family.

He was a retired Supervisor for the Kentucky Department of Transportation. He was an avid lover of horse racing, UK sports and faithfully played the KY Lottery every day.  

He was proceeded in death by his parents, father Edmond Davis and his mother Mary Jane Lucas (Deakins).  He was also preceded by two brothers and a sister.  Brothers Paul and Steve Davis, and sister Donna Hammond (Davis).  

He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Beverly Davis, his children, Kevin Davis (Robin), and Keith Davis. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Taylor, Hannah, Joseph and Brandon, whom he loved with all his heart and bragged on every chance he got, sisters Shere Reeder and Nancy Tipton of La Grange.  He is survived by many nieces, nephews, in-laws, and many other friends and family.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to American Cancer Society.
