Richard “Ricky” Alan Griffin Sr.

Richard “Ricky” Alan Griffin Sr. 64 of Milton, KY passed away Wednesday January 1, 2025.

He was born to Alma and James “Bud” Griffin on 08/05/1960 in Orlando Florida.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Mary Jane (Carver) Griffin, of 34 years.

He is survived by his children, Melinda Oerther DeVuono (Joseph), Joanna Reinoehl (Brian), Richard Alan Griffin Jr, and Ronald Griffin (Jennifer). Grandchildren include Samantha “Sam” Lopez, Jaden Thomas-DeVuono, Collin Beck, Brianna Oerther, Hunter Griffin, Lewis DeVuono, Johnna Reinoehl, Sabrina Griffin, Jacob Griffin, and Brendon Reinoehl. Great grandson Nico DeVuono. He is survived by siblings John Griffin (Marianne), Virgil Griffin, Bryan Griffin (Tina), James “Jimbo” Griffin, Robert Griffin (Katy), Sandra Long (Ronnie), Donnie Griffin (Carol), Johnnie Griffin (Kathy).

He was preceded in death by his mother and father Alma and James “Bud” Griffin and his brother Larry Griffin.

He is also Survived by numerous cousins, Nieces and nephews.

Known as Mr. Fix it, a Jack of all trades and master of none. Richard was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, son, uncle and cousin. He loved cars, car shows and swap meets. He was a mechanic by trade and at heart. He loved to tinker on just about anything that he could buy, sell or trade. He loved Nascar. He loved flea markets and just riding around even if it wasn’t a Sunday. Among all the things Richard loved in life he loved his family most of all.

Services will be at Stoess Funeral Home in Crestwood, KY on Wednesday January 8, 2025. Visitation from 10:30 am till 1:00 pm. Funeral service at 1:00 pm.
