Ralph Williams

Ralph Thomas Williams, 83, of Crestwood, KY, passed away on July 19, 2025. Born on September 22, 1941, in Bewleyville, KY, he was the eldest son of W.R. and Katherine Williams. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Clifford and John Mark, and is survived by his brother David.

A proud U.S. Army veteran, Ralph served as a paratrooper in the 82nd Airborne Division. After his military service, he dedicated many years of his life to the Ford Truck Plant, from which he retired.

Ralph married the love of his life, Alice Kay Williams, on June 22, 1968, at the Bewleyville Methodist Church. Together, they raised three sons: Ross, Todd (wife Jennifer), and Bart (wife Jessica). Ralph is also survived by Kay, their sons, and ten cherished grandchildren.

A devoted member of Calvary Baptist Church in La Grange, Ralph served faithfully as a deacon and was known for his quiet, generous spirit, always giving selflessly to others. His strength, steadfast work ethic, and tender-hearted nature made him a beloved figure, not only within his family, but in his community. Above all, Ralph found his greatest joy in the love and presence of his family.

A service to honor Ralph’s life will be held at Calvary Baptist Church, 1659 Mt. Olivet Rd., La Grange, KY, on Thursday, July 24. Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM, followed by the funeral at 1:00 PM. A private burial will take place afterward at Bethal Cemetery in Irvington, KY for close friends and family. In lieu of flowers, donations will be accepted to fund scholarships for his grandchildren
