Patrick Dana Tolbert, 52, died at Baptist Hospital East in Louisville, Kentucky on October 23, 2021. He was born in Paoli on October 31,1968 to Phillip Lee and Rita Ann (Freed) Tolbert, and they preceded him in death.
After graduating from Paoli High School in 1987, he went on to achieve a Bachelor's Degree in Fine Arts from Purdue University in 1992, and later earned a Master's Degree in Ministerial Leadership from Indiana Wesleyan in 2014. He married the love of his life, Denise Yoder, on March 27, 2010, and they were blessed with three children that he often referred to as, "the best kids on the planet": sons Brendan, 9, and Corwin, 4, and daughter Moya, 7, and they survive.
Above all, he loved his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and was devoted to his family. He also had a love for people and made friends wherever he went. He always had a special place in his heart for the country of Ireland, and took his family there as Christian missionaries in 2017. They had only recently moved back to Louisville, Kentucky.
Besides his wife and children, he leaves behind one sister, LeAnn Pinnick and her husband, Brent, who reside in Paoli. He also leaves behind numerous uncles, aunts, and cousins who adored him, and close friends across the country and overseas. He will be greatly missed by many.
