Mildred Roberta (Gill) Gayhart

Mildred Roberta Gayhart, 87 was born in Pewee Valley, KY passed into heaven on July 8, 2024.  Her family is deeply saddened by this loss, but know she is no longer in pain and no longer suffering in the home the Lord prepared for her.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Gayhart; sister, Doris Adams; brother, James Gill; mother, Lillian Feldmeier and father, Robert Gill.

She was a proud, loving mother to her children Cheryl Thacker (Scott), Teresa Hays, Kenny Hays (Ronda), and Susan Hays (Paul).  She adored her grandchildren Jeremy Crask, Sarah Derryberry, Collin Hays, Lauren Hays, Evan Hays and Jessica Thacker. Great grandchildren who made her eyes sparkle are Jayna Heim-Crask, Aydon Crask, Cooper Derryberry and Logan Hayes.  Mildred was full of grace and love and carried herself with dignity and strength.  She will be remembered fondly for the big heart she shared with all who knew her.

Visitation will be held at Stoess Funeral Home on Monday, July 15 from 10:00 am – 2:00 pm with service and burial following.  Burial will be held in Floydsburg Cemetery.
