Mary Frances (Hawkins) Dossett was born to Albert & Mary Etta Hawkins on March 10th, 1934 in Shelby County, KY. She was the youngest of 6 children. (J.D., Martin, Roscoe, Orville Lee, and Marie) She is survived by her loving husband Bill Dossett, son Corky Dossett (Glenda), daughter Debbie Harris (Ronnie). Frances was blessed with grandchildren and great grandchildren. Mary Wolfson (Andrew), Luke Zaring, Amy, Shannon (Justin), Megan, Tracy (Joe), Chad, Shane, Tennille, Justin, Autumn, Alex, Keith, Marlee, Ethan, Kendall, Brooklyn, Waylon, Jack, Nora, Cade, Corbin, Allie, McKayla, Christian, Mason.
Frances was a blessing to everyone who met her. Her kindness and love influenced many lives. She loved animals and enjoyed watching the animals and birds outside her window daily. She loved sitting on the front porch tending to her flowers and rock garden. She spent many hours praying, cooking, and ironing clothes (just right) for her family.
Frances was a cherished member of the Pewee Valley Seventh Day Adventist Church. She was employed with the Pewee Valley Hospital and Friendship Manor nursing home for 52 years. Frances was loved by her employees, residents and their family members.
Her family, friends and all who knew her were touched by her love. Through her prayer life Frances developed an intimate relationship with Jesus Christ, her personal savior. She is awaiting His soon return when He will come to take her home.
