It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Mark Paul McWane on March 26, 2025 at the age of 54. Mark was preceded in death by his parents, Michael McWane and Donna Coffman McWane, and brother, Dru McWane. He is survived by his spouse, Amanda McWane; two daughters, Madeline and Morgan McWane; and his aunt, Diane McWane. Mark will be remembered for his down-to-earth demeanor, his desire to be a good father, and his love of helping others. He liked to make people laugh, and he was always quick to smile. He was incredibly proud of his daughters and valued family time beyond anything else. He enjoyed his work at Humana and built many friendships with his colleagues during his 12+ years tenure. Mark was also passionate about causes including homelessness and advocacy of women in the workplace. Mark had a love for movies and music of all kinds, and had an incredible talent for remembering even the most obscure trivia related to them. His passion for pop culture is reflected in his collections of arcade games, film and TV memorabilia, and an extensive CD/DVD collection. He also enjoyed composing music in a variety of genres, including electronic dance music (he was a DJ in college) and video game scores. In accordance with his wishes, Mark will be cremated, and a private family celebration of life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to the St. John Center in Louisville, KY, an organization that Mark enjoyed supporting for many years
