Margaret Lucille (Korbe) McDowell

Margaret Lucille Korbe McDowell passed away at 2:55am on Friday, August 25th at Valhalla Post Acute. She was born to Lucille Elvia Dean Korbe Borman and Charles William Korbe in New Albany, Indiana on July 24th, 1929. She is preceded in death by both parents, her husband, Jim McDowell Sr and their son, Jim McDowell Jr and her sister, JoAnn Fawbush. 

She is survived by her daughter, Lisa McDowell, her sister, Dottie Fellows (Fred), 2 sisters-in-law: Alla Mae McDowell and Frances McDowell, grandsons: Colin McDowell, James McDowell III (Sarah Nichols), Charles McDowell (Christina) Bill Berger IV (Carmen Figueroa) as well as a great grandson, Memo, and great granddaughter, Madison and several nieces and nephews & great nieces and great nephews.

Visitation will be at Stoess's Funeral Home from 10am to 2pm with the service immediately following. Burial will be at Floydsburg Cemetary. All are welcome!
