Linville “Lynn” Woosley, age 76, of Crestwood, Kentucky, passed away on August 4, 2026. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend whose steady presence and quiet strength touched everyone who knew him.
Lynn spent his early career as a truck driver for Catalyst Technologies and later worked in maintenance at Rockwell International. Most notably, he built a respected life’s work as a self‑employed cabinetry maker and woodworker. His craftsmanship, attention to detail, and pride in his work were evident in every piece he created.
Above all else, Lynn was deeply protective of his wife and family. He carried an unwavering devotion to the people he loved, and he took great pride in his grandchildren, Rylan and Brynley, who brought him immense joy.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Ann Woosley; his son, Chris Woosley (Melissa); and his grandchildren, Rylan and Brynley. Lynn is also survived by his sister, Margaret Neal. He was preceded in death by siblings Wayne Woosley, Phyllis Wiseman, Elwanda Gullett, Gussie Woosley, Bill Woosley, and Lois Thurman.
A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held on Sunday, August 9, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM, with a memorial service at 6:00 PM, Stoess Funeral Home, Crestwood, Kentucky.
