Leonard "Moose" Jeffries, Jr.

Leonard “Moose” Jeffries Jr., 78, beloved husband of Kimberly, passed away peacefully, on Thursday, March 10, 2022, at Norton Audubon Hospital in Louisville. He was born on October 13, 1943, in Louisville, the son of the late Paul and Elizabeth Gritton. Leonard was a proud United States Army Veteran, spent over 46 years in construction, working as a builder and framer, was an avid fisherman, retired and follower of Christ, and had a huge passion for Operation Christmas Child. He is survived by his loving wife of 28 years, Kimberly, sons, John Jeffries (Barb) and Jacob McKenna (Alyssa), “Bonus daughter”, Amanda Denham (Bryan), sisters, Diane Caudill (Don) and Donna Markwell (Joe), brother, Jim Jeffries (Tammy), brother-in-law, Bob Probus, grandchildren, Meredith Raque, Ericka Jeffries (Amos), Scott Raque Jr., Nathan Jeffries, Alex Raque (Erica), Max Raque, Jack and Shane Denham and Makenna Bell. He is preceded in death by his sons, Leonard “Jeff” Jeffries III and Jeff McKenna and his sister, Helen Probus. Visitation will be held on Monday, March 14, 2022, from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Stoess Funeral Home, Crestwood Kentucky. Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, March 15, 2022, at the funeral home. Interment will be immediately following the funeral service at Valley of Rest Cemetery in Lagrange.
