In the early hours of Tuesday August 22nd, 2023, Mr. John "Keith" Hughes (As known by many lifelong friends as "Humpy") passed peacefully in his sleep with family by his side.
He was a loving person who was always there in your time of need. An electrician by trade for 35 plus years, making many friends along the way. He enjoyed working on cars or anything with a motor, racing, and running trucks alongside friends and family.
John was preceded in death by his father, John B. Hughes. His mother Anna C. Hughes, and his sister Carole J. Smith (William). Leaving behind his wife Karen M. Hughes, two daughters Hannah B. Gregory (Blake), Sarah B. Hughes (Brent Raisor), a stepson Mathew Overton (Stephanie), and 3 granddaughters, Amiri Gregory, BrentLee Raisor, and Joan Overton; Sister Marcia A. Kellogg (Bob); many nieces and nephews and cousins, too many friends to count.
We would like to give a special thank you to everyone at Baptist East's heart failure clinic, you ladies meant so much to him and the Hosparus health team.
