The dash in between those two dates represents a life well lived. A son, a brother, a husband, a father, an uncle, a grandfather and a great grandfather are only a few of the titles he brilliantly fulfilled. His life was devoted to all through servant leadership as a volunteer, the Church, and even more well known as an attorney and public servant (he was even the Mayor of Pewee Valley, KY). He genuinely loved everyone and knew no strangers. He had a smile that could light up any room, and he often used it. He has positively impacted more people during that dash than most people meet in a lifetime. He is already greatly missed but know he would just want us to “keep on the sunny side of life” (and yes, he used to sing his family that song in the morning).
