John Thomas Croak Jr.

John Thomas Croak, Jr., passed away Friday, September 20th, 2024.  

He was born December 31st, 1932, in Flint, Michigan and graduated from Western Michigan University.

John was an avid golfer; a letterman athlete; a member of the South Oldham Lions Club; and a hopeful fisherman.

He was employed by Anaconda, Engelhardt and Harmony Landing, was a dedicated husband and loved his family and friends.  He had a great sense of humor, traveled the world and could always be counted on in great and challenging times.

John was preceded in death by his wife, Carol Stribley Croak.  He is survived by his children; John Croak, III., Jean (Croak) Atcherson, Terri (Croak) Simpson, Amy (Croak) Jennings, Paul Croak (Debbie); 8 grandchildren; and 14 great grandchildren.  In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate donations to South Oldham Lions Club.
