Jill Lynn (Chism) Monroe

Jill Lynn Monroe, 52, died Friday, December 10th, in Mayfield, KY as a result of the devastating tornado that destroyed Mayfield Consumer Products Factory where she was working.  She was from LaGrange, KY.  Jill loved spending time with friends and family, she never met a stranger that she wasn't willing to talk to.  She had a laugh and a smile that would brighten anyone's day!  She loved NASCAR and traveling to the races.  She was a U of K fan and enjoyed watching the Wildcats play ball.  She adored her precious German Shepard, "Thienie", but nothing was more important to her than being "Mimi" to her grandkids; Bryslyn, Braxton and Kaysen.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Joyce Henson and her father, Gerald "Jerry" Chism
She is survived by her son, Chris Chism (Paige); husband, Eddie Monroe; stepfather, Ernie Henson (Gayle); sister, Heather McGuffin (Eric) all of LaGrange; brother, Jeff Chism (Traci) of Louisville; stepmother Rita Chism (Jerry); stepsister, Mandee Ashcraft (David) of Shelbyville and stepsister, Alexie Whitten (Jason) of Sikeston, Missouri.
Visitation Tuesday December 21st, 2021 2-8pm. Funeral service will be Wednesday December 22nd, 2021 at 11 Am, Stoess Funeral Home, 6534 West Hwy 22, Crestwood, KY 40014 with burial to follow in Valley of Rest Cemetery, S. 1st Street, LaGrange, KY 40031. .
