Jannette Harriet (Switzer) Lorenzen

Jannette Harriet (Switzer) Lorenzen, born December 7th, 1937 passed away Tuesday, January 25th in the company of her loving husband, Gary Lorenzen, and son, Michael Lorenzen. “Grandma Jane” as she was known as by many is survived by 4 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. She grew up in Sioux City, Iowa and met her husband Gary in high school. He asked her to dance at a school gathering and took her for a burger afterwards, and the rest is history. Gary & Jane spent much of their married life in Danville, California and relocated to Crestwood, Kentucky over 20 years ago to be closer to their son, Michael and grandchildren.
We remember her today and always as a caring mother, friend, daughter, grandmother, and great grandmother and celebrate that she is in a better place with no pain, no suffering and the ability to watch over us all.
