Janice Schneider Obituary
Janice Schneider, beloved daughter, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, passed away on
Friday, April 22nd, 2022. She was born to Thelma Strawbridge and Charles Girth on January 5th,1947.
Janice retired from the United States Postal Service after many years of service as a rural
route letter carrier.
She was preceded in death by her mother Thelma, her father Charles, her brother Jim and
her niece Carolyn.
Janice is survived by her beloved children Joyce Cassel, John (Wendy) Buckner III, Jimmy
(Schonni) Schneider. She played a very important part in the lives of her grandchildren
Courtney (Ben) Barbash, Brittany (Eric) Schooley, and Payton Buckner as well as her great
grandchildren Hailie Daily, Tristynn Barbash, Audrey-Jane Barbash, Jack Schooley, Bentley
Barbash, Myla Schooley and Seylah Barbash. She was also loved by her brother, Scott
Girth and great-nephew Verse Barron.
Visitation will be held Thursday at Stoess Funeral Home, from 2-7pm. A service will be at 7pm.
