James "Jimmy" Thomas Conn

James “Jimmy” Thomas Conn, 81, of Pewee Valley, passed away peacefully February 8, 2026.  Jimmy was born January 11, 1945, to the parents of Frank and Dot Conn.

Jimmy never met a stranger.  He loved to cook and bake goods to share with friends and family.  He never met a Ford Mustang or dog he didn’t love.  He was a cook in the Army Reserve and retired from GE.  He spent many years helping his brother Steve with his lawn care business.

He was the most loving, caring and best dad and granddad anyone could ask for.

Always giving and thinking of his wife, daughter, grandson and family, he was more than willing to give a helping hand.

Jimmy was preceded in death by the love of his life of over 55  years, Linda “Sue” Conn.

He is survived by his daughter, Suzann Raymond (Dale); grandson, Gavin; brother, Steve Conn (Cathy); nephews, Mike and Lance; in laws, Jen Dick; nephew;  Ned Dick; brother and sister in law, Bob and Betty Denton; nieces, Julie Lamar (Brandon), Jennifer Milborn (Jeff), sister in law, Judy Coffman; niece, Jill Keal (Emily) and great nephews and niece.

Funeral service will be Thursday, 10:30 am, Stoess Funeral Home, Crestwood with burial to follow in Floydsburg Cemetery.  Visitation will be Wednesday 4-8 pm.
