James Harold Nalley

James Harold Nalley, 84 of Louisville, passed away on Friday, July 15 at Baptist Hospital. He was born in Springfield, Ky on Dec. 15, 1937. His lifelong career was providing for his family. He had many trades but retired from Ford Assembly Plant. His true passion was being a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. Harold is preceded in death by his wife of 63 years Elizabeth Rogers Nalley; his parents Joe and Alberta Nalley; brothers Fred Nalley, David Nalley, and Donny Nalley; grandsons Blaine King and Cody Nalley. Carrying on his legacy are his children Danny (Anne), Tony (Kelli), Sandy (Donald); grandchildren Camie (Chris), Annie (Zach), and Brandon; great grandchildren Sophie, Gabe, Finnley, Emma, Felix; sisters Zelma, Darlene (Terry); brothers Andy (Kay), Albert (Linda) and numerous nieces and nephews. Harold, Dad, Poppy was loved and respected, we all looked up to him. He will truly be missed along with his incredible sense of humor, wisdom, patience and love for others. He'll always be a part of us and forever in our hearts. Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 21st from 4-8pm and Friday from 2-8pm at Stoess Funeral Home Crestwood. Funeral will follow on Saturday at 10am.
