Herman Bernard "Bernie" Koontz

Glory to God in the Highest whom received another faithful servant home on December 23rd, 2021.  H. Bernard "Bernie" Koontz, age 66, passed to be with His King at 6 pm.  Even though he will be missed terribly with a void being left forever.  His life was well served.  
For God so loved the world that he sent His one and only son that whom shall believe in Jesus shall be saved. John 3:16.  Leaving behind his beloved bride, Sheila of 45 years, his daughter, Jennifer and husband Robert; son Michael and husband Lucas; grandchildren, Raven and Joshua; sister, Nancy Conley and brother, Ronald Koontz.  Bernie was and accountant by day, Harley enthusiast, equestrian, avid reader of political espionage and science fiction, tech genius, pianist, and prison ministry was his heart.  A man of integrity, who always stood for what was right, set a standard, and welcomed you with love.  
Funeral service will be Tuesday, 12 noon, Stoess Funeral Home, Crestwood with burial to follow in Floydsburg Cemetery.  Visitation will be Monday 2-8pm and Tuesday beginning at 10 am until time of service.  condolences:www.stoessfuneralhome.com
