Hargis McKinney Jr.

Hargis McKinney, Jr., a proud Navy veteran and dedicated heavy equipment operator, passed away in his home February 25, 2025. He was preceded in death by his beloved son, Cory, his brothers, Charles and David, his sister, Vickie Jean, and his parents, Hargis, Sr. and Valeriene McKinney. 

Hargis is survived by his son, Shawn, along with his two grandchildren, Tyler (Kaylyn) McKinney and Erica (Will) Eldridge. He also leaves behind four cherished great-grandchildren: Tyler, Jr., Beau, and Tatum McKinney, and Kip Eldridge.

Hargis was an avid bowler and will be remembered for his love of family, his service to our country, and his unwavering work ethic. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
