Coping with Grief

George was born in Cincinnati, OH to the late John and Bertha Dehler. He was a member of St. Aloysius Catholic Church, Pewee Valley. George is preceded in death by his son, Michael, his parents and his siblings, Rosemary Beckman and Joe Dehler. He loved God, his family, and his country. He served in the Marines overseas and returned home to start a family and begin a long career in pharmaceutical sales. He leaves behind his wife, Joanne, of sixty-three years and family. He was most proud of his family Steven Dehler (Kimberly), Lynda Pohl (Gregory), Michael Dehler (deceased), and Jean Coffman (John). Grandchildren Blake Dehler, Tanner Dehler, Connor Pohl, Alexandra Pohl, Cameron Pohl, Brady Harrison, Parker Harrison, and Chase Harrison. He was a graduate of Elder High School and Xavier University, Cincinnati, Ohio. Services will be held on Monday, November 18, 2024 at St. Aloysius Catholic Church Small Chapel (212 Mount Mercy Drive, Pewee Valley, Ky). Visitation will be from 10:00am – 12:00pm, with Mass immediately following. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Alzheimer’s Foundation of America
