Francis “Joe” Joseph Klosterman 78, passed away on Sunday, February 20th, 2022 at the Masonic Home. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ethel and Francis Klosterman, brother, Charley and sisters, Mary Gerard Klosterman and Charlotte Dearing.
Survivors include a son, Scott A. Klosterman and his life companion Betty Boswell; daughter, Deanna M. Popp (Kevin); grandson, Garrison Popp; brothers, Michael (Patsy), Jimmy, Eddie (Shari); sisters, Maxine Klosterman, Margaret Rankin, Marie Tapp, Cathy Brock (Ed), Mary Yates (George), Virginia McClellan, Anne Meredith (Joe), Frankie Culbertson (Dreux); sister-in-law, Patty Klosterman, and many nieces and nephews.
Joe was a very gregarious person who loved his family and friends. He served in the Artillery Battery of the Ky National Guard and was an avid gun enthusiast. He was in the floor covering business for over 50 years.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, March 12th at 11 am at St. Aloysius Catholic Church, Pewee Valley, Ky. Interment to follow in the church cemetery.
A Memorial Celebration will be held from 3-7 pm on Friday, March 11th at Stoess Funeral Home, Crestwood, Ky.
In Lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
