Dorothy June (Sweney) Krantz

Dorothy June (Sweney) Krantz, passed away Friday, September 22nd, 2023 at the age of 99.

She was born in Montague, MI and raised in Muskegon, MI. She married Herman Arthur Krantz on December 20th, 1947.  Herman was in the Air Force and together they lived and traveled extensively overseas and in the US.  She was always up for an adventure.  She was a full-time mom to their two daughters and her passions were family, sewing, classic cars, and a great fondness for animals.  She commented recently that she had lived a wonderful life....and she did.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Herman; five siblings and a grandson.  

She leaves behind to cherish her memory, daughter, Kathy Krantz, of Shelbyville, KY and daughter, Susan Seibert and son-in-law, Jack Crawford of Grand Haven, MI and a multitude of friends.

Funeral service will be Friday, September 29th, 2023 at Duncan Memorial Chapel with burial to follow in Floydsburg Cemetery. Visitation will be at 11am until time of service.
