Don Wayne Bowman

Don Wayne Bowman returned to his Heavenly Father on October 20, 2025 at the age of 76. 

Preceding his death was his mother, Eula Mae Bowman and father Clawson C. Bowman and brother Clawson C. Bowman Jr.  

He is survived by his wife, Judy Marie Bowman, his seven children, Jeremy Bowman, Jennifer Harding (James), Jill Neal (Rich), Judy Storms (Zane), Jonathan Bowman (Tamara), Jessica Russell (Street), and Jayme Gonda (Nathan). His 38 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. And sister Joyce Peterson (Miguel). 

Don was born November 10, 1948 in Montebello, CA 

Don was an eagle scout, served a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints from 1968-1970 in the Franco-Belgium Mission, he spoke French. Don married Judy Marie Minrath July 30, 1971 for time and all eternity in the Los Angeles Temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Satints. He graduated from the University of Louisville Dental School in 1977. He served in the Navy as a Lieutenant doing dentistry from 1977-1979. He loved serving as bishop to the Louisville First Ward for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Don loved the Lakers, the Rams, and the Dodgers. He loved to garden and serving in the church.  Don loved the gospel of Jesus Christ.  He loved the scriptures. Don loved talking and conversing on the gospel and serving in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Saints.  He loved his family.  He loved baseball and music and making homemade french fries and tacos for his family.  Don was a very fair-minded man and had a tender heart and would give you the shirt off his back.  He is loved and will be missed dearly. Until we meet again.
