Dennis "Denny" Michael Barrett Jr.

BARRETT, Dennis “Denny” Michael Barrett Jr. of Oldham County went to be with our Heavenly Father on Sunday April 4th 2021.

Denny was a very gifted young man who had a love for science music and people.  Denny was a 2010 graduate of North Oldham High School.  He held a Bachelor’s degree in Physics from The University of Louisville with a minor in math.  Denny also attended The University of Alabama Huntsville.  Denny was employed by AVI-SPL as an IT/Communications technician at Humana.  Denny also privately tutored students in math and Physics.  Denny was a loyal and compassionate friend, a loving brother and son.  He touched and impacted a great number of people in his short 29 years of life and he will be terribly missed.

Denny is survived by His parents, Dennis M. Barrett and Kimberly M. Barrett (Spencer); his sister Jenna M. Barrett; his grandparents Charles R. Spencer and Marilyn L. Spencer (Janes); and many Aunts, Uncles and cousins.

Denny was preceded in death by his grandparents Robert E. Barrett and Mary M. Barrett (O’Donnell).

Funeral service will be Friday 2 PM, Stoess Funeral Home, Crestwood with burial to follow in Floydsburg Cemetery.  Visitation will be Thursday 12-8 PM and Friday 12-2 PM.
