David Earl Lindsey

David E. Lindsey, 72, born January 29 1948, in Little Rock Arkansas, passed away on January 2nd 2021 in Crestwood Kentucky. He was proceeded in death by his parents, Earl Glendon Lindsey and Dorothy Jean (Gibson) Lindsey, and a nephew, Shane Lambert.  He leaves his wife of 32 years, Melody Ann (Morlan) Lindsey; daughter, Laura Jean Lindsey, and a grandson, Jude Alexander Wayne Lindsey.  Two brothers, Kemp (Georgia) Lindsey, of Boise, ID, and John (Sharon) Lindsey, as well as several nieces, a nephew, and their children.  

Dave worked in the forklift industry for 40 years, moving to Louisville in 1996, working at BGM Industrial Lift Trucks.  He was a balloon pilot for 25 years, and he and Melody, and Laura after she was born, traveled to many rallies all over the country. He was also an active member of South Oldham Rotary for 25 years, where he made many great friends and good memories.  Dave was also an active, past member of Pewee Valley  Presbyterian Church.  

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Hospital or Kaydee’s Promise, Taylorsville, KY.
