Clyde Ray Sears

Clyde Ray Sears, 86, of Crestwood, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on July 6, 2025 surrounded by his family. Born on December 27, 1938, in Corbin, Kentucky to loving parents Wille and Josephine Sears. Clyde was known as a devoted husband, loving father, and steadfast friend who always put others before himself.

Clyde was a member of Crestwood Baptist Church. He retired after 34 years from Ford Motor Company Kentucky Truck Plant.  Beyond work, his passions revolved around his beloved family, cherished church community, and a deep fondness for classic cars. He took joy in attending car shows.

Clyde is survived by his wife, Sue Sears. Two sons, Scotty Sears (Jenn) of Crestwood, KY and Stephen Sears (Dana) of Buckner, KY, three grandchildren, Hunter, Walker and Abby and one sister Phyllis Sears.  He is preceded in death by his parents and 10 brothers and sisters.

Visitation will be held on Sunday July 13, 2025 from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Stoess Funeral Home 6534 W. State Hwy 22, Crestwood, KY.

A graveside service will be held for the family on Monday July 14, 2025 at 12:00 pm Louisville Memorial Gardens East.
